The most used are Stripe (international, 2.9% + USD 0.30), BAC Credomatic (CR, negotiated commission ~3–4%), BNCR PagaBN, and SINPE providers (Tilopay, GreenPay).

In Costa Rica context

Typical recommendation for ecommerce in Costa Rica: Stripe for international guests/customers (USD cards), BAC or BNCR for premium local cards (better 3DS experience), SINPE Móvil for customers who prefer not to use a card. Stripe setup: 1–2 days. Local bank gateway setup: 2–4 weeks (contract + KYC required).
