Reservation systems for hotels and B&Bs in Costa Rica
Calendar, online payments, channel manager (Booking, Airbnb, Expedia) and PMS — no commission on direct bookings.
We work with boutique hotels, B&Bs, cabins, and hostels in Costa Rica tired of paying 15–25% commission on every Booking or Airbnb reservation. We build their own direct channel — calendar, online payments, OTA sync, and operations panel. You pay for development once; direct reservations cost you no commission ever.

Calculate how much you lose to OTA commissions
Booking, Airbnb, and Expedia charge 15–25% per reservation. A direct channel removes that commission.

07/Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
How much do you really save with a direct system vs Booking/Airbnb?▾
Booking charges 15–18% commission, Airbnb 14–16%, Expedia 18–22%. If your hotel makes USD 80,000/year in reservations and 60% come from OTAs, you are paying USD 7,000–9,000/year in commissions. A USD 5,000 direct system pays for itself in 8 months if you only recover 20% of those reservations as direct.
Does the channel manager work with Booking and Airbnb at the same time?▾
Yes. When a room books on Booking, it is automatically blocked on Airbnb, Expedia, and your direct channel. Same in reverse. This prevents overbookings — the #1 problem for properties juggling multiple OTAs manually.
Can I manage multiple properties from a single system?▾
Yes. The full PMS (USD 8,000–15,000) supports multi-property natively: a single login shows you all properties, reservations, occupancy, and consolidated reports. Each property can have its own calendar, rates, and branding.
Do you accept SINPE Móvil for payments?▾
Yes. SINPE Móvil has no commission and is ideal for local guests. For international guests we use Stripe (accepts any card worldwide). For premium local cards (BAC, BNCR) we can integrate the bank gateway — takes 2–4 extra weeks and USD 1,500 – 3,000.
Does my small hotel (4 rooms) need a full PMS?▾
Probably not. For 4–6 rooms, a calendar with payments and a simple operations panel (USD 3,000–5,000) is enough. A full PMS only makes sense if you manage >15 rooms or multiple properties, where the cost is justified by saved admin time.
How long until it is operational?▾
Calendar + payments: 4–6 weeks. With channel manager: 8–10 weeks. Full PMS: 12–16 weeks. We meet deadlines because we work in weekly sprints — if we slip, we absorb it (we bill per deliverable, not per hour).
Is e-invoicing also needed?▾
If you issue invoices to Tico guests or companies, yes — Hacienda requires it. The integration is a separate module (USD 2,500–4,500). For foreign guests and individual tourist reservations, Hacienda receipts do not always apply; it depends on the hotel’s tax regime.
